Now for a taste of Africa. A camel patrol in E Africa’s largest
sugar-cane estate, Kilombero, Tanzania, at left. And at right,
the author with Evans in
Juba, South Sudan who facilitated an introduction to the Vice-President. This
saved him and his
company from expulsion after threats from state security. Later,
when the author was jailed, Evans’s help was also crucial.
